National Geographic Society: COVID-19 Emergency Fund for Journalists
During these difficult times, the journalist plays an important role in supporting communities around the world. The National Geographic Society: COVID-19 Emergency Fund for journalists is an emergency fund for journalists all over the world who wish to cover COVID-19 within their own communities by using the power of storytelling.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Relief & Recovery Fund
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Relief & Recovery Fund is organized by The Community Foundation Martin. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible. Funding will be made directly from one or more of the participating funders to the applicant agency.
The Disaster Recovery Fund will use an efficient grant process to ensure dollars quickly reach nonprofits working with vulnerable populations. The committee will help to provide solicit guidance on potential recipients from community advisors and recommend final grants.
The Bridge Ahead Initiative: COVID-19 Fund
The Bridge Ahead Initiative is a funding program by Art Bridges to support the partner museums. Funds of $5 million in total are provided in the funding program.
Greater Flint Urgent Relief Fund
The Greater Flint Urgent Relief Fund will award grants on a regular basis to nonprofits that are addressing the gaps that are surfacing in key services for our most vulnerable community members. It provides funding opportunities for winning organizations.
The purpose of the Greene County Emergency Response Fund is to provide quick, flexible grants and resources to nonprofit organizations in the area working with communities (people and organizations) who are heavily impacted by local disasters and emergencies. Grants are provided as benefits for the nonprofits.
The program is focused on preparation for COVID-19 related critical care capability shortages. The U.S. Government (USG) Department of Defense (DoD) is anticipated to have approximately $30 to $37 Million (M) in FY20 funds. The program will support the extension of high-quality intensive care to traditional and non-traditional and temporary healthcare facilities which lack adequate critical care expertise and resources necessary for the care of COVID-19-related illnesses.
Capital Region Community COVID-19 Response Fund
Capital Region Community COVID-19 Response Fund will be provided by nonprofits operating in the surrounding counties of Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Schoharie, Warren, and Washington. Funds will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis, making it possible to move resources quickly and adapt to evolving needs in subsequent funding phases.
COVID-19 Community Response Fund
The fund has been developed to support charities, non-profits, and organizations to effectively and efficiently keep community members safe in the current environment while meeting the increased demand for services and support. The fund provides the grant opportunity.
Cambridge COVID-19 Emergency Fund
The Cambridge Community Foundation has launched the Emergency Fund program to help the needy one. Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded to nonprofits that directly work with low-income populations and that have the capacity to make money transfers to the constituents they serve.
Central Virginia COVID-19 Response Fund
The fund initially addressed emergency response strategies such as health services, a shelter for the homeless, food access, and the procurement of food and safety supplies. Grants up to $10,000-$50,000 are provided for the organizations that are serving those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coronavirus Fast Response Fund
The response fund is launching to mobilize civic initiatives to help limit the coronavirus crisis and counter its negative impact on society, good governance, democracy, rule of law, and access to free media. Proposals should be under $25,000. Management costs and administrative costs are cumulatively limited to 25 percent of the overall award.
COVID-19 Prompt Response Fund is organized by Arlington Community Foundation. The foundation has established the funding program to respond quickly to help nonprofit partners when an emergency, disaster, or crisis hits. The fund provides grants to a successful application.
COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund
COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations in its region working with priority groups, including senior citizens, children, health-compromised, and workers in the hospitality and tourism industry. The fund is seeded with $140,000 with support from Coastal Community Foundation, Waccamaw Community Foundation, and Frances P. Bunnelle Foundation.
The Benton Community Foundation will be working with community partners to provide resources as needs emerge. BCF is currently providing grants of up to $5,000.
Special Call for proposals: Fight SARS-CoV-2
The DIM ELICIT would like to support projects developing innovative technologies and methods regarding the analysis, diagnosis, and/or treatment to fight SARS-CoV-2. It will fund up to 15k€ for running and/or staff costs or 30k€ for equipment.
Columbia County COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund
Columbia County COVID-19 Response Fund launched by Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation provides flexible resources to nonprofit organizations with experience helping individuals, youth and families stabilize their lives in times of crisis. Funds may be requested for up to $15,000.
Emergency Response and Recovery Grant
Emergency Response and Recovery Grant is the funding grant opportunity launched by the Berrien Community Foundation and United Way of Southwest Michigan. The emergency grants are offered to support nonprofit organizations that are serving those affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Boston Singers’ Relief Fund is focused on New England-based singers whose classical performances were canceled due to concerns over COVID-19. Grants currently range between $100-$900 depending on the need and availability of funds.
Funding program for Nonprofits, Municipalities, and Schools to assist them during the Coronavirus crisis. The Fund will be both proactive and responsive, making grants on a rolling basis of $1,000 to $10,000.

Applications are open for A Better Chicago, Emergency Relief Grant for projects and initiatives of non-profits organizations providing assistance to low-income youth and families experiencing significant hardship due to COVID-19. The program anticipates making grants ranging from $20K-$100K over three to six months.
The Malta Council for Science and Technology and Malta Enterprise Corporation has called for the challenges surrounding the current unprecedented circumstances by designing a national fund entitled the “COVID-19 R&D Fund”. The €5.3 Million COVID-19 R&D Fund is provided for the private entities, public and academic.
COVID-19 Artist Relief Fund is launched to support artists during the COVID-19 crisis. The Fund will distribute the $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19
Panhandle Disaster Relief Fund: COVID-19 Response
Applications are accepting from the programs providing food for high-risk populations, direct healthcare services, programs providing childcare for essential workers, and programs designed to diminish the risk of exposure to the virus in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants will range from $2,500 to $25,000.
FAPERJ Announces the Release of R $30 million for Research on Covid-19
FAPERJ management has announced the launch of an emergency call to support Covid-19 research. In total, R $ 30 million will be made available for approved projects.
Response Fund for Women & Girls Impacted by COVID-19

Funding for Ideas that Address COVID-19
Proposals are invited for short-term projects addressing and mitigating the health, social, economic, cultural, and environmental impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. UKRI will support excellent proposals up to 18 months duration which meets at new research or innovation to deliver a significant contribution to the understanding of, and response to, the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts.

Royal Bank of Scotland owner NatWest and the Prince’s Trust has launched a £5 million fund. The aim of the fund is to help young entrepreneurs keep their businesses afloat during the coronavirus crisis. The grants will also support young people to diversify their business to respond to opportunities created by the crises.
COVID-19 Response Fund for Non-profit Organizations
Local Non-profit organizations providing the services on health, food, rent, utility, and childcare assistance, as well as mental health services during the outbreak, can apply for the funding program for Up to $100,000 fund support.
Loden-UNDP Bhutan COVID-19 Response Fund
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Loden Foundation in partnership with UNDP Bhutan invites business proposals from Bhutanese individuals and groups. The grant program will provide a limited number of businesses in Washington’s 39 counties with a grant up to $10,000.

Mozilla Open Source Support Awards for COVID-19 Solutions
MOSS is an awards program of Mozilla Corporation, providing catalytic funding to open source technologists. As part of the COVID-19 Solutions Fund, the program will accept applications that are hardware (e.g., an open-source ventilator), software (e.g., a platform that connects hospitals with people who have 3D printers who can print parts for that open source ventilator), as well as software that solves for secondary effects of COVID-19 (e.g., a browser plugin that combats COVID related misinformation).
EUR 10 million Call for proposals on the Coronavirus
The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is launching a fast-track Call for proposals on the development of therapeutics and diagnostics to tackle current and future coronavirus outbreaks.
