Do you provide funding for projects?

No. Please note that we are not a donor or funding organization. StartupXs is the online hub where start-ups and social enterprises grow together.

Can I send you a funding proposal?

Please don’t send us funding proposals. We are NOT a donor or funding organization. We do NOT provide grants of any kind.

Who should use StartupXs Premium?

StartupXs is useful to:

  • Startups, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and social enterprises working to create an impact in developing  countries and home country
  • Fundraising consultants and prospect researchers

Is StartupXs useful to others?

Yes. StartupXs is also useful to others working in development or developing countries. Consultants, researchers, academic institutions, and individuals working for innovation.

Which countries do you cover?

StartupXs covers opportunities for every developing country in the world, including Africa, Asia, Latin America & the Caribbean, Oceania, and Eastern Europe.

How many users can use one account?

Your account is to be used by the authorized subscriber only and should not be shared with others.

Can I share my password with others? 

No, your password can be used by you only and should be kept confidential.

I cannot find the country name in the payment list. What should I do? 

Due to sanctions and embargos administered by the U.S. Government, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) lists the following countries that fall within comprehensive sanctions programs: Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, and Syria. Please note that StartupXs may not accept payment from any entities or individuals that are operating and based in the aforementioned regions.

However, you can ask any of your sponsors outside of the above-mentioned regions to purchase a Membership for you.

Which payment methods do you offer?

You can either make a payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) or Paypal (credit card or direct PayPal transfer). For additional payment options please contact us by clicking here.

I do not have a credit card. Can I sign up?

Can I pay in installments?

Sorry, we do not accept installment payments.

Is membership renewed automatically?

Yes. You can request automatic renewal to be turned in at any time by contacting us here. You will receive notifications regarding renewal before you are charged for your membership renewal.

Can I use StartupXs on my mobile device?

Yes. You can access StartupXs by using any standard web browser on your mobile device.

Can I save/download any opportunity or article?

Yes. Premium members can add opportunities to their favorite list and download them.

I can’t log in – what do I do?

Most login problems arise due to typing errors. Please carefully retype your email address and password. In case you forgot the password, please click the ‘Forgot password’. You will receive a link to reset your password. Otherwise, contact us.

I am already a member but when I search for funding opportunities it takes me to the subscribe page – what do I do?

Please first try to either log out and/or delete ‘cookies’. If that doesn’t work, please contact us here.

How do I change my contact details?

You can do this by going to “My Account” and clicking “Settings”.

How do I change my email?
