All proposals must be business-focused. It has allocated up to £25 million to fund innovation projects in this competition.

European Innovation Council Accelerator

Women in Innovation Awards 2021/22 (UK Research and Innovation)
Innovate the UK, as part of UK Research and Innovation, is offering at least 20 Women in Innovation Awards to female entrepreneurs across the UK. The winners will receive a £50,000 grant and a bespoke package of mentoring, coaching, and business support. The aim of this competition is to find women with exciting, innovative ideas and ambitious plans that will inspire others. The awards are for female founders, co-founders, or senior decision-makers working in businesses that have been operating for at least one year.

The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships 2022
The Mo Ibrahim Leadership Fellowship Programme is a selective Fellowship that prepares the next generation of outstanding African leaders by providing them with unique work opportunities at the most senior level of prominent African institutions or multilateral organizations, whose mandate is to improve the economic and social prospects of Africa. Each year three Fellows have an opportunity to work in the executive offices of the AfDB (Abidjan), ECA (Addis Ababa), or the ITC (Geneva), with a stipend of $100,000.

UNCDF COVID 19 Support Platform for Women’s Economic Empowerment
UNCDF’s COVID-19 platform project to support women’s economic empowerment in Mali was set up as part of the WEE Index (Women’s Economic Empowerment Index), in partnership with UNDP.
