Amber Grants for Women Entrepreneurs

WomensNet founded the Amber Grant Foundation in 1998. The Amber Grant was created to help women achieve their dreams. They also offer free tips on how to get a grant, offer their own monthly grant, and discuss encouraging stories of woman entrepreneurs. You can apply every month for the grant. Each month an Amber Grant of $2,000, is awarded and one of their 12 monthly recipients receives an additional $25,000 Amber Grant.

USAID Development Innovation Ventures

USAID Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) sources proposals for developing innovations that improve the lives of people living in poverty in the developing world. It provides tiered funding to pilot, test, and transition to scale those innovations that demonstrate evidence of impact, cost-effectiveness, and the potential to scale. Three stages grant of up to $5 million are available.
