The Bridge Ahead Initiative: COVID-19 Fund

The Bridge Ahead Initiative is a funding program by Art Bridges to support the partner museums. It has started an effort of Art Bridges to help and support the partner museums through The Bridge Ahead Initiative: COVID-19 Fund to remain them in touch with their audiences during this period and to prepare for reopening in the months ahead. Funds of $5 million in total.

Response Fund for Women & Girls Impacted by COVID-19

Women’s Foundation of Minnesota calls for the Response Fund for Women & Girls Impacted by COVID-19. It invites Minnesota organizations and initiatives serving women and girls experiencing gender-based violence, older women, women, and girls who need short-term financial support for everyday needs (childcare, eldercare, food, housing, transportation, health, and wellness) to apply for emergency grants. Grants available up to $10,000.

Indian Startup Community calls for the application for a project-based funding program up to $500,000 to bring innovative projects that are helpful for the current scenarios. GIF was set up to confront global development challenges by funding innovations with the potential to improve the lives of the world’s poorest people. For those living in developing countries, COVID-19 is yet another of these challenges. In a crisis, the most vulnerable are the ones most at risk.

Funding for Ideas that Address COVID-19        

Proposals are invited for short-term projects addressing and mitigating the health, social, economic, cultural, and environmental impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak. The call is made by the UKRI to support the projects fighting against the global outbreak. If a grant is awarded, the program will provide funding at 80% of the full economic cost.

Loden-UNDP Bhutan COVID-19 Response Fund

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Loden Foundation in partnership with UNDP Bhutan invites business proposals from Bhutanese individuals and groups. The proposals must directly address challenges and problems caused or worsened by the COVID-19 outbreak. Interested applicants can avail of the support of loan/grant up to Nu. 1.5 million from the ‘Loden-UNDP Bhutan COVID Response Fund.’

Data-Driven Innovation Grants to Fight COVID-19

Data-Driven Innovation (DDI) Program has allocated to release small grants to enable staff and students at the University of Edinburgh to apply data-driven innovation ideas in support of communities, services, and businesses in Edinburgh and South-East Scotland Region. Individual grants of between £1,000 and £25,000 whose initiatives tackle the virus or its impact.

Multi-Million Funds to hit COVID-19 by The Prince’s Trust

Royal Bank of Scotland owner NatWest and the Prince’s Trust has launched a £5 million fund to help young entrepreneurs around the world to keep their businesses afloat during the coronavirus crisis. Grants can be used to maintain core business operations during the crisis, as well as meet any existing financial commitments. The £5million Enterprise Relief Fund.
