Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the IPI Local News Accelerator 2024 are:

Local Focus: The organization should be media-based, with a clear emphasis on serving local audiences.
Quality Journalism: The organization should be committed to producing quality journalism, adhering to ethical practices and supporting press freedom.
Proposal Submission: A proposal outlining a specific need and solution must be submitted.
Team Commitment: At least two team members should be willing to commit to the accelerator activities for four months.
Business Understanding: The media venture should have a solid business case and audience understanding, supported by research.
Innovation: The media should be willing to explore and implement new ideas to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Future Vision: The media should have a clear vision for their future growth and adaptation plans.
