Ocean Innovation Africa is a platform that showcases African ocean-impact initiatives and brings together international entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, businesses and leaders working to support sustainable, equitable growth of the African ocean economy. They believe that innovations led by science, technology, and entrepreneurship will provide the necessary leverage points to harness blue economy growth for socio-economic and environmental gain in Africa, at the pace and scale needed to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It is an action-oriented event, with mornings dedicated to inspiration and solution showcases, and afternoons to outcomes-based workshops aimed at providing a platform for collaboration in and between key sectors.

The Event will take place in Cape Town, South Africa. Conference sessions will be held from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd of February with networking activities, study tours, site visits and more scheduled before and after the main event.
