AFTS’ AlphaExpo program has been seeded in the mission to support early-stage entrepreneurship and investment in the African financial technology ecosystem. The AFTS AlphaExpo program has been a core tenant of the mission since day one. AlphaExpo was established to support early-stage entrepreneurship and investment in the African financial technology ecosystem. At each November edition of the Africa Fintech Summit, they select startups from hundreds of applications to exhibit at the summit free of charge and to participate in the AlphaExpo Bootcamp, concluding in a pitch competition.

Application Process
They have begun accepting applications to the 6th AlphaExpo cohort at this year’s Africa Fintech Summit in November 2023. Please apply before August 30, 2023, to be considered for the program. Selected startups will be notified of their selection by September 15th.
