Youth Stop Hunger Innovation Grants Program

Youth Service America, in partnership with the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation, is offering twelve $2,500 grants to teams of 2-5 youth in the United States, aged 5-25, to lead projects addressing the root causes of hunger in their communities. The Youth Stop Hunger Innovation Grant aims to encourage sustainable hunger-relief programs that engage other youth in volunteerism. Applications are open until December 8, 2024. The grant requires applicants to propose service programs that address root causes of hunger, such as food waste, climate change, and poverty. Projects must include plans for continuation, replication, and expansion. Applicants must select a Sponsor organization or school and a Mentor to provide support. Awardees will participate in mandatory calls with YSA staff and submit two reports during the grant period.
