WasteSorted Organics Infrastructure Grants

The WasteSorted Organics Infrastructure Grants 2024–25 program, managed by the Waste Authority, allocates $1.25 million for projects aimed at food and garden organics recovery and recycling. There is no maximum funding cap per project, and both small and large-scale projects are considered. The application deadline is 5pm (WST) on Monday, 7 October 2024. The program supports the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030 objectives.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for WasteSorted Organics Infrastructure Grants are:

1. Eligible applicants include businesses, incorporated community groups, local governments, not-for-profit organizations, and regional councils.
2. Ineligible applicants include individuals without an ABN, state government agencies, schools, and organizations with outstanding waste levy payments.
3. Applicants must confirm compliance with Western Australian environment protection laws for the past five years.
