SMEs developing Circular Economy and Sustainable Solutions

The CESAM Innovation Call supports SMEs developing sustainable and circular solutions in the agri-food sector, specifically targeting the Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean. It focuses on scaling up technologies for industrial water treatment, packaging innovations, waste reduction, and valorizing by-products. SMEs can apply for up to €30,000 for individual projects, €50,000 for regional collaborative projects, and €70,000 for interregional projects. The funding rate for all projects is 100%, and projects must demonstrate market-ready solutions with a minimum technology readiness level (TRL 6).

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of the SMEs developing Circular Economy and Sustainable Solutions are:

Target SMEs: Open to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
Project Focus: Must address one of the following topics: water treatment, packaging, process optimization, or co-product valorization.
Technology Readiness: Solutions must be at TRL 6 or higher.
Location: Projects must be based in eligible regions of the Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean.
