Small Grants Scheme for Soft Measures
Application is open for the Small Grants Scheme for Soft Measures. The call aims to support training and competence-building through networking on topics such as sustainable business models, green innovation, circular economy, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Green Industry Innovation and Welfare Technology focus areas. The EEA and Norway Grants operate in funding periods. In the current 2014-2021 period, the funding amounts to €2.8 billion and covers areas ranging from climate change and energy to innovation and sustainable business development.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are:
- SMEs, as defined in the EU Recommendation 2003/361, are established as legal persons in Bulgaria and registered under the Bulgarian Commercial Act and
- non-for-profit organisations established as legal persons in Bulgaria.
Any public or private entity, commercial or non-commercial and non-governmental organisations, established as a legal person in Bulgaria or in Norway.

Benefits
The EEA and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with 16 EU countries in Europe.
- A total of 1,350,000 euros.
- Between 5,000 euros and 100,000 euros per project.
- All projects must contribute to supporting enterprises to increase their business development capacity, preferably in close cooperation with partners from Norway.
- Funding is available for projects which support sustainable business models, green innovation, circular economy, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
