Service Area Competition 2024
The Health Resources and Services Administration is offering funding through the Health Center Program’s Service Area Competition. This funding aims to ensure ongoing care in communities currently served by the program. Various entities, including state, county, and city governments, nonprofits, and Native American organizations, can apply. If you’re a private nonprofit or a public agency in the U.S. or its territories, you’re eligible. For more information, contact the Department of Health and Human Services.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Service Area Competition 2024 are:
- The applicant must be a state government.
- The applicant can be a nonprofit with a 501©(3) status with the IRS, excluding institutions of higher education.
- Native American tribal organizations, other than Federally recognized tribal governments, are also eligible.
