Rosewood Foundation Entrepreneurship Award

The Rosewood Foundation Entrepreneurship Award is currently accepting applications for individuals who have innovative solutions aimed at promoting sustainable development in Hong Kong and are seeking financial support to grow their initiatives and expand their businesses. This award program, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) and Rosewood Foundation, aims to assist young entrepreneurs in integrating their commitment to social and environmental impact with their business endeavors. It seeks to harness their creativity and skills by offering access to valuable resources and support.

National Women’s Small Business Month- Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs

Eligibility

To be eligible you must be met following criteria:

Eligible candidates are individuals who are permanent residents of Hong Kong, aged between 18 and 35.
Applicants should not have a history of bankruptcy or ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.
They should be seeking support for scaling up their business, either by expanding their existing venture or venturing into a tested or certified new business domain.
The business must be registered in Hong Kong and have been operational for a minimum of one year but no longer than five years.
Applicants are required to furnish relevant business registration documents, including copies of the Business Registration Certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, and Incorporation Form (for companies limited by shares).
In the case of joint ventures or limited companies, all partners or shareholders must be co-applicants and meet the aforementioned qualifications.
Applicants must be working on projects related to one or more of the following themes:
- Reducing waste and pollution.
- Promoting circularity in product materials/solutions, encompassing reduction, reuse, recycling, and upcycling.
- Contributing to sustainable consumption and production.
- Developing environmental solutions that enhance urban sustainability, such as access to clean water and clean, affordable energy.

Benefits

The Rosewood Foundation Entrepreneurship Award offers the possibility of receiving funding of up to HKD 100,000 for scaling up, as well as mentorship and opportunities for business partnerships:

Ten selected companies that make it to the Pitch Day stage will benefit from mentorship services and networking opportunities provided by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and Rosewood Foundation.
Among these, five companies will be chosen to receive scale-up funding of up to HKD 100,000 to expand their businesses and explore potential collaborations within the hospitality industry.
