Research Rovers: AI Research Assistants for NASA

Apply before: October 2, 2023

NASA is currently accepting applications for their “Research Rovers: AI Research Assistants” program. This initiative aims to address a common challenge faced by NASA researchers and many others in various technical and scientific fields. The challenge is the need to grasp the current state of research in specific domains, even when they lack prior knowledge in those areas.

Whether you are an academic conducting your own research, a data scientist exploring novel machine learning methods, or anyone entering a new field of study, this problem can be quite overwhelming. NASA is looking for innovative solutions to evaluate emerging capabilities in AI-based research assistants. In essence, they are seeking creative approaches to make it easier for researchers to navigate and understand unfamiliar bodies of literature in their respective fields.
