Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program – Singapore

The U.S. Embassy in Singapore’s Public Diplomacy Section is currently accepting applications for its Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program. This initiative provides funding for various activities and exchanges that foster connections between the United States and Singapore, ultimately enhancing the bilateral relationship and people-to-people ties. The Annual Program Statement outlines funding priorities, strategic themes, and submission procedures. Successful applicants will receive grants and cooperative agreements to support these initiatives. Interested parties are encouraged to carefully follow the provided instructions during the application process.

Eligibility

  • Partisan political activities are ineligible for funding.
  • Charitable or developmental projects are not eligible for support.
  • Construction programs do not qualify for funding through this initiative.
  • Programs supporting specific religious activities are ineligible.
  • Fundraising campaigns are not considered for funding.
  • Lobbying efforts for specific legislation or programs are not eligible.
  • Scientific research projects are excluded from consideration.
  • Programs primarily aimed at organizational growth or institutional development are ineligible.
  • Initiatives duplicating existing programs do not qualify for funding.
  • Programs that do not align with established priorities are not eligible for consideration.

Benefits

  • Eligible projects may receive amounts ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 USD, with exceptions possible based on budget alignment with project goals.
