The Innovations Against Poverty (IAP) Challenge Fund offers businesses an opportunity to scale their inclusive innovations. The program provides matching grants of €50,000 to €200,000 to businesses working on products, services, or business models that benefit low-income communities. Applicants receive non-financial support such as business development advice, inclusive strategy creation, marketing training, and investment readiness guidance. Selected businesses may access investor matchmaking and ongoing mentorship.
Eligibility
The eligiblity criteria for Innovations Against Poverty (IAP) Challenge Fund
are :
- Businesses must offer inclusive innovations benefiting economically disadvantaged communities.
- Operations must be based in Cambodia, Ethiopia, Uganda, or Zambia.
- Innovations must have passed the pilot phase and generate revenue.
- Applicants need robust financial systems for accurate reporting.
- Businesses must co-invest at least 51% of the project costs through cash or in-kind contributions.
- Projects must have potential for sustainable growth and scalability.
- Applicants must comply with ethical standards, including local laws, labor rights, and environmental regulations.
