Innovation Grant Program

Apply before: December 6, 2024

The What Works II Innovation Grant Program are now open for applications, offering up to GBP 500,000 to organizations or consortia led by Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) in the Global South. These grants, aimed at achieving a measurable reduction in violence against women and girls (VAWG) in humanitarian or development contexts, provide funding for up to 3 years. The deadline for submissions is December 6th, 2024. The program defines innovation as developing and implementing new or existing ideas with transformative impact potential for future scaling. The eligibility criteria for the Innovation Grant Program are:

Organizations or consortia led by WROs.
Based in the Global South.
Aimed at reducing VAWG in humanitarian or development contexts.
Must register once on the application portal.
Align with the definition of innovation by What Works II.
