2020 Grants for Nonprofits

Apply before: August 17, 2020

Applications are open for the 2020 Grants program. In light of recent events with the Corona Virus, The Community Chest’s grantmaking process has been modified for this year. Area nonprofits have had to make significant changes in how they provide services to their current clients while also making provisions for serving large numbers of new clients as well. Many of these expenses were unanticipated. To assist them in serving our neighbors, all grants made by The Community Chest in 2020 will support expenses incurred by local nonprofits related to the virus.

Eligibility

Grants will be made only to nonprofits who embrace the same core values as The Community Chest – diversity, equity, and inclusion are viewed as moral imperatives.
Funded organizations must not discriminate in service delivery or organizational structure based on race, gender, age, sexual identity, or other personal characteristics.
Organizations that do not subscribe to the above will not be eligible for funding.
