European Cooperation Projects Small Scale

The European Cooperation Projects aim to support organisations in the cultural and creative sectors from various countries to collaborate on innovative and cross-sectoral activities. Projects should highlight cross-border cooperation, aligned with the priorities of the Creative Europe Programme, such as greening, inclusion, gender equality, digital transition, and international relations. Small-scale projects, suitable for grassroots organisations, require a consortium of at least three entities from three eligible countries and may receive up to €200,000 in funding, covering 80% of eligible costs. The programme focuses on two objectives: enhancing the transnational creation and circulation of European works and artists, and fostering innovation by building capacity, experimenting with new practices, and addressing societal challenges like audience engagement, climate change, and mental health.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the European Cooperation Projects Small Scale are:

  • Applicants must include a consortium of at least three organisations from three eligible countries.
  • The maximum grant amount is €200,000 per project, with 80% funding support.
  • Projects must promote cross-border collaboration in the cultural and creative sectors.
  • Exclusively audiovisual projects are ineligible.
  • Proposals must align with EU priorities such as greening, inclusion, and digital transition.
  • Activities like festivals, fairs, and exhibitions are encouraged for grassroots organisations.
