The “Digital For All Challenge” is a testament to the belief that every Nigerian is entitled to digital literacy and future work skills. This initiative is driven by the conviction that digital proficiency is a fundamental right, not a privilege. It’s a step towards empowering Nigerians with the necessary digital tools for the future, thereby bridging the digital divide and fostering an inclusive digital economy.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for Digital For All Challenge are:
Young Learners Category
- Age Limit: 8 and 18.
- Erollment Criteria: Either primary or secondary school.
- Next, they must pass the basic digital literacy assessment after completing the school training.
- Lastly, their school and teacher should be registered on the platform. Note that only teachers currently employed at a primary or secondary school can register their school and students.
Adult Category
- Age Limit: 19 and 45.
- Subsequently, they must complete the training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic or advanced digital skilling program.
Civil Servants Category
- To start with, participants must be civil servants.
- Following that, they must complete the training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic digital skilling program.
Benefits
The benefits of the Digital For All Challenge are:
- Young Learners (Ages 12-18): The grand prize winner receives a 10 million naira cash prize. The first runner-up gets 7.5 million naira, and the second runner-up receives 5 million naira.
- Youth Category (Ages 19-45): In the basic level, the grand prize is 10 million naira, with 7.5 million and 5 million naira for the first and second runners-up, respectively. In the intermediate level, the prizes increase to 15 million, 12.5 million, and 10 million naira for the grand prize, first runner-up, and second runner-up, respectively.
- Civil Servants: The grand prize is 10 million naira, with 7.5 million and 5 million naira for the first and second runners-up, respectively.
