Cyber Startup Challenge 2024

The Cyber Startup Challenge 2024 aims to discover new technologies related to the safety of Artificial Intelligence. Companies can register and submit their solutions. The top three startups will present their ideas at a conference in Bern on October 30, 2024. A jury of experts will choose the winner, who will receive an order worth up to CHF 100,000 to integrate their technology into the VBS environment. This challenge is a market exploration to identify promising technologies.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Cyber Startup Challenge 2024 are:

Innovative AI: Firstly, the program seeks AI solutions with broad applications. The technology doesn’t need to be fully developed, but a convincing proof of concept should be achievable within a year and with less than CHF 100,000.
Security and Defence: Secondly, the aim is to apply AI in security and defence. The technologies can span different areas, such as expanding AI’s potential in defence or showcasing innovations in security tests.
Model Flexibility: Lastly, there’s no focus on specific types of models. The technology could help test models against common attacks, measure their robustness and resilience, or offer alternative methods for assessing AI security.
