Cartier Women’s Initiative: Regional Awards

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Fellowship offers financial, human, and social capital support to women-led businesses. It provides financial grants of US$100,000, US$60,000, and US$30,000 for first, second, and third-place awardees, respectively. Additionally, selected fellows have access to a loan fund offering loans of up to US$200,000 at preferential rates. The program includes 1:1 business training, expert advice sessions, leadership coaching, and networking opportunities. Fellows will receive media exposure, international visibility, and access to a global community of over 700 experts.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Cartier Women’s Initiative: Regional Awards are:

  • For-profit business: The business should generate revenue and profit.
  • Early-stage business: Established between June 2017 and June 2022.
  • Revenue generation: At least one year of revenue generation.
  • Fundraising limit: No more than US$2 million in dilutive funding.
  • Positive impact: Must contribute to one of the UN SDGs.
  • Leadership: The applicant must be a woman holding a leadership role.
  • Ownership: Majority ownership must be with the founders and women.
  • Legal entry age: Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
  • English proficiency: Required for effective participation in the community.
  • Time commitment: Must participate from January 2024 to January 2025.
