Australian Centre for Quantum Growth program

Apply before: January 24, 2024

The Australian Centre for Quantum Growth program is currently accepting applications, following its announcement as part of the National Quantum Strategy. This initiative is a component of the Growing Australia’s Critical Technologies Industries budget measure outlined in the 2023-2024 budget. The Centre aims to establish itself as a highly recognized and unified entry point for the quantum industry and the broader quantum ecosystem in Australia. By fostering genuine and enduring relationships across industry, research, consumers, and government stakeholders, the Centre seeks to drive innovation and translation. Its overarching goal is to accelerate the growth of the quantum industry in Australia, enhancing the country’s global competitiveness through increased collaboration and coordination in research and development. Emphasis will be placed on industry-led solutions that facilitate the adoption and diffusion of quantum technologies in both Australian and international markets. Additionally, the Centre will play a role in raising awareness and promoting the applications of quantum technologies to end users. It will prioritize the establishment of a foundation for ethics and security within the Australian quantum ecosystem by advocating for ethical technology adoption and awareness.
