The Apiary IDEA CHALLENGE PROGRAMME – 5.0 is currently accepting applications. This program is offered by Apiary – Centre of Entrepreneurship in Blockchain Technology, a Technology & Business Incubator (TBI) located at STPI, Gurugram. Apiary CoE aims to support and incubate 100 blockchain-focused startups over the course of 5 years. STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY).

Eligibility

To be eligible for this challenge, Indian startups and entrepreneurs working in the blockchain domain must meet the following criteria:

The startup should be incorporated as one of the following:
- Private Limited Company (as per the Companies Act, 2013)
- Registered Partnership Firm (under section 59 of the Partnership Act, 1932)
- Limited Liability Partnership (under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008)
It is encouraged but not mandatory for startups to be registered with DPIIT under the Startup India program. However, startups must adhere to the definition of startups prescribed by DPIIT.
The startup should have been registered or incorporated within the last 10 years as of the date of the challenge opening.
Individuals, academicians, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, partnership firms, and LLPs can participate. If selected, they will need to register as a private limited company within a specified time, preferably within 3 months.
The startup’s annual turnover should not exceed Rs. 100 crore for any financial year since its incorporation.
The entity should not have been created by splitting up or reconstructing an existing business.
The entity should be focused on innovation, development, improvement of products, processes, services, or have a scalable business model with the potential for employment generation or wealth creation.
Startups from Haryana State are encouraged to participate in this program.
