The Poznan, Poland Scaleup Hardware and IoT program’s initiative is to support young and innovative companies in the field of Hardware & IoT. The program aims at providing break-through technology solutions to Polish corporations by working closely with them and startups. Similar to the Poland Prize by Brinc accelerator program, ScaleUp takes 0% equity.
Connected devices will transform elemental sectors of the economy such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, health, and education and will impact all aspects of lives. Poznan believes that unlocking information about the Scaleup bodies, homes, offices, cities, food supply and beyond, can profoundly improve the world that we all live in.
Similar to the disruptive force of the internet and mobile phones, the internet of things (IoT) will fundamentally change the way the world works and how we all interact with it. Diminishing costs associated with connectivity and computing, technological advances in telemetry and data analytics, and device miniaturization have paved the way for the rapid proliferation of connected devices. It is estimated that by 2025, there will be more than 75 billion connected devices delivering an economic impact between $3.9 and $11.1 trillion per year.
Twice a year, Poznan runs a five-month ScaleUp Hardware & IoT Accelerator Program in Poznan, Poland.
Eligibility
Poznan, Poland Scaleup Hardware and IoT have the following application requirements:
- Investment in international startups. Startups do not have to be based on the program’s location
- Startups focused on completing a working prototype and ready for DFM that fits within one of the ScaleUp Hardware & IoT investment categories
- At least 2 co-founders with relevant industry experience
- A scalable and defined business model with high growth potential
- Must have a working prototype or show technical capabilities of being able to produce your product

Startups successfully accepted into the accelerator program will need to:
