The P4G Call for Partnerships is now accepting applications for projects focused on climate mitigation or adaptation solutions in food, energy, and water sectors. Partnerships must include at least one early-stage business and one nonprofit organization and must operate in one of P4G’s ODA-eligible partner countries: Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kenya, South Africa, and Vietnam. Applicants must aim to alleviate poverty, promote gender equity, and drive economic growth in areas such as climate-smart agriculture, food loss and waste, water resilience, zero-emission mobility, and renewable energy. P4G offers grant funding and technical assistance to help these businesses become investment-ready.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for P4G Climate Mitigation/Adaptation Solutions are:
- Must include at least one early-stage business and one nonprofit administrative partner.
- Must operate in P4G’s ODA-eligible partner countries and focus on specified sub-sectors.
- Must be at seed or post-seed financing stage with a robust business plan.
- Must understand policy, legal, and regulatory frameworks in the implementation country.
- Must be innovative and show climate, economic, and social impact.
- Must include a cost share of at least 30% and meet budget requirements.
- Must demonstrate responsible business conduct and meet due diligence requirements.
