The Call for Innovative Solutions for Green Transition in Serbia is currently open for applications. This initiative is backed by the European Union, Sweden, and Switzerland in collaboration with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, along with support from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Serbia. It aims to continually seek proposals for creative solutions that will facilitate the green transformation of the Serbian economy.
The primary objective of this Call for Proposals is to provide assistance for the implementation of inventive solutions across all five key areas of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans:
- Decarbonization: This involves reducing reliance on fossil fuels and shifting towards renewable energy sources.
- Circular economy: This pertains to the sustainable use of natural resources and their preservation.

Eligibility
- Eligibility for this challenge is open to a wide range of entities, including public and private companies, social enterprises, research institutions, civil society organizations, local self-governments, and managers of protected areas.
- These entities can submit their applications either individually or in collaboration.
Benefits
Top-notch applications will be provided with mentoring and technical assistance to refine their ideas, and the most outstanding proposals will be granted co-funding for the actual implementation of their solutions.
